This premium material is 17mil (with adhesive) and includes a textile mesh layer which strengthens the product for ultimate durability.  The life expectancy indoors up to 3-years walls & up to 6-months walkways/floors, while outdoors up to 6-months walls & 3 -months walkways/floors without ripping, stretching, shrinking or tearing.  Many installations can last a lot longer depending upon the type of use, positioning, and environmental considerations.

TOOLS:

VersaGraphics360 must be firmly compressed to the surface to prevent moisture from

getting underneath. This is best achieved by using a hard rubber roller such as a

J-Roller rather than a squeegee. The roller is better at evenly compressing the material

to texture of the surface and sealing the edges without friction, plus it is faster and more

end-user friendly than a squeegee.


SURFACE PREPERATION:

VersaGraphics360 performs on a broad range of surfaces, however if there are contaminants

on the surface (including dirt, water, ice, oil/gas) which gets trapped between the pressure sensitive adhesive and the surface, the contaminant can prevent it from successfully bonding to the intended surface.

  • Optimal application surface temperature: 50º F / 10º C or higher. Colder outdoor surfaces should be heated to at least 40º F / 4.5º C with a torch or heater.
  • Service temperature range is 20 degrees F to 150 degrees F.
  • Surface must be completely dry.
  • Typically, most surfaces only need to be swept clean of dirt and debris.
  • Power washing is normally not required unless there is oil/gas/chemical residue on the surface. This must be thoroughly cleaned such as by power washing or scrubbing with a broom and soapy water, a degreaser or in some cases simply with a mixture of 50/50 to 70/30 percent isopropyl alcohol (IPA) + water. Afterwards, rinse well with water and allow to thoroughly dry before installing the graphics.
  • There are some situations such as the condition, structural and material composition of a surface; therefore no guarantee for successful application or removal on all surfaces can be made. Testing samples on the actual surface is highly recommended. The user is responsible for determining the product's suitability, including adhesion and if needed, removal characteristics.

 

STANDARD INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

  • The goal for good installation is for the graphic to have 100% contact on the intended surface. When properly compressed to the surface, the material will take on the texture of the surface, appearing as a painted image.
  • No heat source is needed to conform or remove the VersaGraphics 360 material. It is a pliable and durable textile / PVC composite material that easily conforms and holds the shape and texture of the applied surface.
  • For small graphics; remove the release liner, lay adhesive side down flat and press by hand from the center to outer edge, making sure all edges lay flat.
  • For large graphics; pull back 4 inches of the release liner, align the graphic to the surface and start the application. Continue to remove 6 to 10 inches of the release liner at a time, using a firm roller or short bristle brush to compress the material, press air bubbles to edges.
  • If necessary, the material can be lifted and repositioned into place.
  • Firmly compress the material for 100% contact to the surface with a hard rubber roller, making sure all edges are sealed.
  • To remove bubbles; puncture material with a pin prick to create an air release and compress with roller.
  • Tiling large graphics: The material can be overlapped on vertical applications, edge to edge installation is recommended for most floor graphics.
CLEANING:

Standard floor cleaning methods and properly diluted cleaning solvents are acceptable. It is recommended to clean with a hose, towel or broom, and Dawn dish soap (let stand to dissolve adhesive). Scrub then rinse clean.
REMOVAL:

Removal does not require heat! VersaGraphics is generally easy to remove on wall and pedestrian walkway applications. Vehicular traffic is not recommended and may increase the difficulty in removal.

1. Simply peel off at an angle less than 45 degrees for best result; typically leaves no residue.

2. If residue remains, it can be removed by;
a. Allowing a non-abrasive soap such as Dawn dish soap to stand to dissolve adhesive.
b. Applying an agent such as Simple Green, Goo-Gone, Formula 409, vinegar or CRC Adhesive Remover. Standard process - spray/pour onto residue, allow to set for a minimum of 5minutes, then scrap/wipe/power wash.
c. Allow it to wear away with pedestrian traffic and weather. Sometimes shadowing occurs (when embedded dirt is removed) leaving the area where the graphics were installed to appear cleaner than the surrounding areas and is sometimes misidentified as residue.
